New York, NY—April 25, 2006-- The European-American Business Organization, Inc. (EABO), a consulting firm specializing in transatlantic business development, today announced that it is expanding its practice with the appointment of two new executives. Julie Lerner joins EABO as Managing Director and Birgit Findeis as Director, Tax Services. Ms. Lerner will be responsible for new business development, including the exploration of international investment opportunities, strategic sales and project management. She will coordinate the allocation of staff, outside consultants and other resources of the firm. Ms. Lerner will report directly to EABO’s CEO and President, Sven C. Oehme. Prior to joining EABO, she held senior trading and business development positions with XL Financial (Weather & Energy division), Cargill International, S.A., Cargill Inc., Phibro and Sempra Energy Trading. She has lived and worked in the US, Europe and Latin America. According to Mr. Oehme, “EABO has been growing steadily since its inception in 1999. We are pleased to welcome Julie to the team and are confident that her considerable international business development experience will be a tremendous asset to the firm.” Ms. Findeis joins EABO with over 14 years experience as a lawyer, tax advisor and accountant. She heads EABO’s new Tax Services division, which includes comprehensive tax planning and general tax compliance services. Ms. Findeis began her career in Germany with KPMG in Munich, which led to her specialization in international tax law. She later worked for BDO Germany and went on to become Senior Manager of their international tax department in New York, with clients ranging from mid-sized enterprises to high net worth individuals.
